Schwagmeyer and her husband have been running and coaching their own 25/8 mentality AAU programs for the last four years with all local players.

“Basketball is a big part of the local culture and it’s a big part of John Wood culture. To have a star that’s from our local talent base is an incredible opportunity, both for her and for us as we start this new era of women’s basketball at John Wood,” JWCC President Dr. Bryan Renfro. “She has a vast knowledge of the game and the skills needed to make a championship program and we couldn’t think of a better person to do it.”
